Elan Vital : Good Design, But Less Than Average Performance

Elan Vital FSCUG9C  

Despite it's interesting folded sheet metal fin design and copper base this cooler fails to deliver performance. This is presumably due to it's relatively slow turning fan, or maybe the rough contact area finish or the slightly "crappy" looking soldering by wich the fins are attached to the base.

It is also available in a temperature controlled variant by the name of FSCUG9C-6FC.
