Globe Cooler : Another Two Uninspired Designs

Globe Cooler GC-C462CA60SB3M

This is another fine example of a totally unexciting cooler design. The only pluses are the good contact area finish and the included package of (unfortunately inferior) thermal grease. It is only recommended up to 1.2 Ghz, but fares not overly bad with the 1.33 Ghz cpu used.

Globe Cooler GC-C462CA60SB3M (with other fan)

Either the two samples were exchanged during packaging, or this cooler is somehow inferior. According to the package it is meant for Athlons up to 1.4 Ghz, but performs even worse than the sample with standard fan meant for 1.2 Ghz. But on the other hand, the package tells us that it is "the best cooler to lengthen your CPU's life" - which is not too true, either ;-)
