The SDA38670BT stands out of the mass by it's huge fan and heatsink, held by good, broad clips. Unfortunately it is very hard to install or fit onto many mainboards due to its size.
This cooler is not optimized for maximum performance, but for low noise. The fan is speed controlled for lowest possible noise, the temperature measurement is taken by a thermal resistor which can be fitted inside a hole in the side of the heatsink.

To create even terms, we heated the sensor (while being outside the heatsink, of course) so that the fan always was running at maximum speed.
Performance was a little above average, on par with the TaiSol.
Note that this Heatsink is weighs more than the maximum of
300g specified by AMD !
